It is one thing to be an informed voter, and quite another to be intrusive, ill-bred and obnoxious. Tom Bauerle wears his crudeness as a badge of honor. It is disheartening to hear that there are people who admire his ignorance.
The questions he asked Hillary Clinton have absolutely no bearing on a person's desire or ability to run for public office. It appears that Bauerle wants to hold Clinton accountable for the actions of her husband. What goes on in their marriage is their business -- not tabloid news.
As of Thursday morning, WGR was standing behind Bauerle's snickering sophomoric rendition of an "interview." Western New York deserves better representation than what WGR offers. To treat a standing first lady -- or any candidate for public office -- in such a disgustingly inappropriate manner is reprehensible. We don't need WGR radio's small-minded "shock jocks" giving us a national black eye.
