I have just finished trying to read The News. I think it is disgraceful that the biggest newspaper in town does such a poor job of printing. Parts of the paper are so dark with excess ink that they are barely readable. Other parts are so pale that they are also barely readable. Then, after struggling to read the paper, I find that my hands are so black with ink that it looks like I've been coal mining. Perhaps the printing supervisor of The News should consult with the comparable person at the Bee Newspapers. Those papers are printed with much greater consistency. The printing is clear, the pictures are clear -- unlike The News pictures, which are blurry -- and the ink stays on the paper instead of transferring to the hands.
