Frances E. Caccamise, 87, a former L.L. Berger employee, died Friday (Jan. 21, 2000) in Chautauqua County Home, Dunkirk.
A native of Silver Creek, the former Frances Vacanti moved to Buffalo in 1929 and also had lived in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
She worked in the jewelry department of Berger's and had been a saleswoman for Sarah Coventry Jewelry in the Silver Creek area.
Mrs. Caccamise was a former member of Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church in Buffalo and sang in the church choir. She was a member Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Silver Creek and was active in its Social Club.
She was a charter member and one of the organizers of the Silver Creek Kiwanis Club in the 1950s.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Frank; two sons, Dr. Richard of Wall, N.J., and Dr. Donald of Las Cruces, N.M.; and six grandsons.
Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 165 Central Ave.
