Neighborhood Legal Services, a nonprofit agency that provides outreach services to low-income residents, will be at Holland Town Hall from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday. Supervisor Gordon Hessel Jr. said the agency will be available to town residents who meet economic requirements. They can discuss such legal issues as tenant-landlord problems; housing issues; and government entitlement programs, such as social security, medicaid, welfare and food stamp payments.
He said the legal family issues such as divorces, child custody and paternity cases can also be discussed, as well as discrimination, disability and handicapped cases. Neighborhood Legal Services does not handle criminal cases, Hessel said. Call the agency at 847-0650 or Holland Town Hall at 537-9443 for more information.
