Two Fredonia men were taken into custody by Fredonia Police Saturday morning after threatening several individuals for the payment of drug money, according to Fredonia Police Chief Bradley C. Meyers.
Darryl "Demo" Bray, 20, of Barker Street, was charged with felony second-degree grand larceny and criminal possession of marijuana.
Jason Shear, 20, East Main Street, was charged with felony second-degree grand larceny in connection with the incident.
Police report that the arrests were made following a joint investigation that involved the Fredonia Police Department and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force.
Police said the two men were attempting to get payment for drugs supplied to another individual by threatening that person and other family members.
Police are continuing an investigation and expect more arrests will be made.
Bray and Shear were remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail, each in lieu of $1,000 bail.
