TEEN HURT IN SNOWMOBILE MISHAP

A Gainesville teen was transported to a Rochester hospital early Saturday after sustaining injuries resulting from a snowmobile accident on a steep hill, according to Wyoming County sheriff's deputies.

Levi W. Parmerter, 18, lost control of his snowmobile at about 11 p.m. Friday while coming down a steep hill near 2026 Manley Road in the Town of Sheldon and was ejected from the vehicle.

Parmerter was transported to Wyoming County Community Hospital where he was treated for a possible broken hip. He was later taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester for further treatment.
