Reetis J. Singleton, 65, who worked for 22 years as a heavy equipment operator with the Niagara County Highway Department, died Thursday (Jan. 20, 2000) in Millard Fillmore Hospital, Buffalo, after a brief illness.
He was born in Heaters, W. Va., and retired in 1996 from the Highway Department.
An avid hunter and fisherman, Singleton also enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include two daughters, Robin Alexander and Cheryl Grembowicz; a stepson, James Tagg; two stepdaughters, Laura Merritt and Nancy Ann Woods; a sister, Sue Earlenbough of Flatwoods, W. Va.; four grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; and a step-great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton.
