Being a sports fan in Buffalo is hard enough. Wide Right, No Goal, and now the Immaculate Deception.
I have followed Buffalo sports for many years, went to many games, purchased team apparel. The heartbreak I felt after the playoff loss was the straw that broke the camel's back. I will never again watch or attend another game. I can no longer get emotionally involved with teams whose games are decided by referees.
Whatever happened to letting the players decide what happens on the field? Phil Luckett couldn't get a coin toss correct. How could they let that incompetent decide on a call like this, let alone have him officiating an NFL playoff game? I would have thought that after his record of bad calls last year he would have been fired.
I am saddened by the fact that my children won't be involved in Buffalo sports as I once was. How can I allow them to feel the pain that I have? The NFL is allowing the referees to decide games. Does anyone investigate their bad habits, are they being bought? Or is the NFL becoming the WWF of professional sports? A predetermined soap opera!
