Members of the Fredonia Chamber of Commerce are being polled about the direction the chamber is to take.

A meeting about the future of the organization will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the auditorium at the Fredonia Central School.

According to a letter sent by chamber President Gina Kron, "Over the years the Northern Chautauqua Chamber of Commerce assumed administrative duties for the Fredonia Chamber, while the Fredonia Chamber worked to initiate local activities and promotions."

The chamber is involved in the annual "Christmas in the Park," which kicks off the holiday shopping season, and the information booth in West Barker Common that is open during the summer.

Chamber members are asked to complete a questionnaire that includes their opinions about services the chamber can offer. The questionnaire can be returned to the chamber until Jan. 31.
