A memorial service for Ronald C. Brooks, a former Lancaster paving contractor, will be held at 1 p.m. next Saturday in Faith United Methodist Church, 5505 Broadway, Lancaster. Burial was in St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Lancaster.
Brooks, 71, died Jan. 14, 2000, in St. Augustine Beach, Fla., after a long illness. He had lived there for the last 4 1/2 years.
He was a former superintendent of Bituminous Products Inc., Cheektowaga, a producer of asphalt products, and later formed Como Paving Ltd., Lancaster.
Surviving are his wife, the former Patricia Ann Baker; four daughters, Barbara Broadwater of Frostburg, Md., Beverly Weisbecker of Alden, Debra Bell of Wilmington, N.C. and Jayne Kostorowski of Lancaster, Calif.; two brothers, Raymond of Marilla and Gary of West Seneca; two sisters, Sue Kline of Depew and Sharon of Lancaster; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
