PUBLIC ASKED TO HELP NAME BUILDING

The Perry School Board will seek public help in naming the district's new building, which will house students from prekindergarten to eighth grade.

The board sought suggestions from faculty, students and staff, and then narrowed the field to three finalists. They are: Perry Pre-K Academy, Perry Academy and Perry Elementary Middle School.

A ballot will appear in an upcoming issue of the district newsletter, and residents are invited to mail in their choice for the name. The $17.85 million building is expected to be completed by the start of the 2000-01 school year.
