Jacqueline A. Gruber of East Aurora, who enjoyed harness horse racing, died Thursday (January 20, 2000) in Buffalo. She was 54.

Born in Wales, she was a member of the Western New York Harness Horse Association, who collected horse memorabilia and loved to garden.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Robert H.; two sons, David J. of Strykersville and Robert H. of Hamburg; three daughters, Denise M., Karen and Kimberlee M., all of East Aurora; two brothers, Bradley Jerge of Rushford and James J. Jerge of Belfast; a sister, Barbara Dunning of Greencastle, Pa.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Wood Funeral Home, 784 Main St., East Aurora. Burial will be in Marilla Cemetery.
