FALLS STUDENT ARRESTED IN SCHOOL

A Niagara Falls High School student was arrested Friday in school when an assistant principal found 11 bags of suspected marijuana in the student's jacket.

Officer Michael Scozzafava said Floyd A. Prather, 17, of Center Court was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Scozzafava said Assistant Principal Charles Longo demanded Prather's leather jacket about 10 a.m. after a pager went off while the student was wearing the garment. While searching for the pager, Longo found the small bags, which Scozzafava said tested positive for the drug.
