Concetta J. Riggio, 83, a former employee of Bell Aircraft Co. and Carborundum Co., died Thursday (Jan. 20, 2000) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness.
Miss Riggio, known as Connie, was a lifelong Niagara Falls resident who attended local schools.
She worked at the Bell plant during World War II, and then worked at Carborundum for 30 years, retiring in 1979.
She enjoyed cooking, knitting, and crocheting.
Miss Riggio was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Church, 14th Street and Pine Avenue, with prayers at 10 in M.J. Colucci & Son Funeral Chapel, 468 19th St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
