Janet K. Savage, 94, of Warsaw, died Wednesday (Dec. 29, 1999) in the Eastside Nursing Home in Warsaw, where she resided.

Ms. Savage was born in Holland, N.Y., on Dec. 31, 1904, the daughter of the late Dana and Kittie Childs Savage. She was a graduate of Holland High School, Class of 1922.

Ms. Savage was a graduate of the Wyoming County Community Hospital School of Nursing in Warsaw. She was a private-duty nurse for Dr. George Narin for 38 years before her retirement in 1972.

A member of the First Baptist Church in Warsaw, Ms. Savage was its organist and pianist. She was also a former deaconess and also served on many boards, including the trustees and pulpit committee. She was a member of the Women's Missionary Group and the Nurses Alumni.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Weeks Funeral Home, 123 N. Main St., Warsaw. Burial will be in Holland Cemetery, Holland.
