Fay Irene Rager, 68, of Cheektowaga, died Saturday (Dec. 25, 1999) at her winter home in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Born Dec. 3, 1931, in Ebensburg, Pa., Mrs. Rager was a retired employee of Westinghouse in Buffalo, where she worked for 21 years. Among other duties, she was the first female overhead-crane operator at the facility.

Mrs. Rager was an avid square dancer and bingo player.

Mrs. Rager and her husband, James S. Rager, were residents of Cheektowaga and spent the winter months in Florida.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Rager is survived by two daughters, Anna Jean Bourque of Richmond, Va., and Linda Lee Feuerstein of Fort Lauderdale; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held this week in Florida. Interment will be in Ebensburg.
