BYRON R. MCKINLEY JR., FORMER OWNER OF TAXI SERVICE

Byron R. "Ron" McKinley Jr., 54, of Buffalo, former owner of a local taxi service, died Tuesday (Dec. 28, 1999) in Millard Fillmore Hospital, Gates Circle.

Born in Chicago, McKinley was a lifelong resident of Western New York. He graduated from Kenmore West High School and the University at Buffalo.

McKinley owned Ron's Taxi Service for several years. For the past 10 years, he was associated with Airport Taxi Service. He received the Hospitality Award for taxi service from the Greater Buffalo Convention and Visitors Bureau in 1990.

McKinley was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and a member of the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce and the Buffalo Athletic Club.

Surviving are his parents, Byron R. McKinley Sr. and Gladys Haffenden McKinley of Island Beach, Fla., and a sister, Betsi O'Neill of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
