Bernadette M. Meyer, 52, of Rochester, a legal secretary for the former Hooker Chemical Co. in Niagara Falls in the early 1970s, died Saturday (Dec. 25, 1999) in Genesee Hospital, Rochester, after a long illness.
Born in Niagara Falls, the former Bernadette Gigliotti was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and attended Bryant and Stratton Business School.
She worked for Hooker for 3 1/2 years and as a computer specialist for Bell Aerosystems in Wheatfield for four years. She married Jack Meyer in 1973 and moved to Rochester in the late 1970s.
Her husband died in 1993.
Surviving are her mother, Elizabeth Gigliotti, and a brother, Frank, both of Niagara Falls; and a sister, Sandra Wizner of Lewiston.
A private burial service was held Thursday in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
