Viola C. Carlstrom, 75, a former waitress, died Monday (Dec. 27, 1999) at home.

She was born Viola Drake in Union City, Pa.

She had been employed by Ironstone Restaurant as a waitress and also worked for attorney Alfred Ford and the Collins Sport Shop. Her hobbies included knitting, sewing quilts, reading, computers and collecting glassware.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, John R.; two daughters, Beth Mong of Amherst and Ellen of Buffalo; a brother, Clarence Hayes of Union City; and two grandchildren.
