A late-night two-car accident caused by weather-related conditions Wednesday in Wheatfield sent three people to area hospitals, Niagara County sheriff's deputies said.

Erica Swane Poel, 12, address unavailable, was taken to Children's Hospital. She was a passenger in a car driven by Sandra K. Crocker, 46, of Ransomville, who was taken to Erie County Medical Center. David Labiak, 52, of Sanborn, the driver of the other vehicle, was transported to DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda.

None of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening, deputies said. No charges were issued.

The 11:47 p.m. accident occurred on a stretch of Shawnee Road where blowing winds caused a build-up of ice and snow, deputies said.
