A Conewango Valley man faces charges of leaving an accident scene after he allegedly hit a bus unloading passengers in a ski resort parking lot.
Michael J. Reitz, 21, was charged with following too closely and leaving the scene of an accident at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Holiday Valley.
Cattaraugus County sheriff's deputies charged Reitz after witnesses gave security officers his license plate number.
The bus, which was stopped, was operated by Larry G. Mack, 47, of Great Valley.
Mack is a Cattaraugus County legislator whose term expires Friday. Mack was not re-elected in November.
