Louis Alfonsetti Sr., 76, a retired General Motors Corp. employee and a member of Masonic organizations, died Monday (Dec. 27, 1999) at his home in the Town of Owego.

A longtime resident of the Buffalo area, Alfonsetti was a press operator for the Chevrolet Division of General Motors, Town of Tonawanda.

Alfonsetti was a member of Chapter 235, Royal Arch Masons; Valley of Buffalo Consistory; Ismailia Shrine Temple; Hugh DePayen No. 30 Commandery; Key Stone Council 17; and Cryptic Masons. He was past master of Nocturnal Lodge 1137, F&AM.

His wife, Jennie Petrucci Alfonsetti, died in March.

Survivors include a son, Louis Jr. of Owego; a sister, Rosemarie LoBello; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Nocturnal Lodge will conduct services at 7:30 p.m. today in Lester H. Wedekindt Funeral Home, 3290 Delaware Ave., Town of Tonawanda, where a funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
