Dennis C. Mordick of Lockport, a retired electronics technician, died Sunday (Dec. 26, 1999) in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst, after a brief illness. He was 61.

Born in North Tonawanda, he was a lifelong resident of this area. He worked at SMG Controls and then at GTE Sylvania in Batavia for 18 years. He also worked part time at Suburban Lanes and Thruway Lanes.

Mordick served in the Navy from 1958 to 1962 aboard the USS Colette and also served in the National Guard.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, the former Donna M. Kehoe of Lockport; a daughter, Lisa Paine, and a son, Todd, both of Amherst; a sister, Shirley Thompson of North Tonawanda; three brothers, William of Poway, Calif., Ronald of the Town of Tonawanda and James of North Tonawanda; and two grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Amigone Funeral Home, 2600 Sheridan Drive, Town of Tonawanda.
