Here's an easy to make, quickly assembled appetizer:


8 ounce package cream cheese

1 small (3-ounce) package cream cheese

2 ounces blue cheese

1 tablespoon milk

1 small onion, minced

Chopped pecans or walnuts

Mash the cheeses together until smooth, adding enough milk to make a soft consistency. Add onion. Using waxed paper, roll cheese mixture into a ball and store in the refrigerator.

Just before serving, roll in chopped nuts and garnish with a sprig of parsley. Serve with crackers or party bread. Serves 8 to 10 people.
