ROCKS PLACED ON ROAD
INJURE TEEN, DAMAGE CAR

A Youngstown teen was injured early Monday when the car in which she was riding struck several rocks that apparently had been placed intentionally in the driving lanes of the Robert Moses Parkway, Niagara County sheriff's deputies said.

Beverly Woolson of Wilson told deputies that she struck the rocks shortly after midnight on the Blairville Road overpass of the parkway. All four tires on her vehicle were damaged, as was the undercarriage, Deputy Gerald Granto said.

Passenger Christina Cabello, 16, suffered unspecified injuries, Granto said. An investigation into the incident is continuing.
