June E. Lyall, 79, a former resident of Williamsville and Niagara Falls, died Thursday (Dec. 23, 1999) at her Gurnee, Ill., home after a lengthy illness.
A Niagara Falls native, she lived there for 50 years. She lived in Williamsville for 20 years and moved to Gurnee in 1995.
A graduate of Kelley Business Institute, the former June Dixon was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a member and ordained deacon of Riverside Presbyterian Church. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Libertyville, Ill.
Mrs. Lyall enjoyed sports and was an avid golfer and bowler.
Survivors include her husband, George; a daughter, Cheryl Saraf of Gurnee; two sons, Jeffrey of Gurnee and Craig of Oakland, Calif.; a sister, Yvonne Kover of Florida; a brother, Robert Dixon of Florida; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services were conducted today in First Presbyterian Church, Libertyville.
