CREDIT CARD THEFT ON GRAND ISLAND IS FOCUS OF SEARCH

Detectives with the Erie County Sheriff's Department are seeking the public's help in solving a case involving the use of a credit card stolen in Grand Island.

The credit card, taken in an Oct. 23 residential burglary, was used the next day at several stores in Erie County. Authorities say a man and a woman, both believed to be in their early 20s, have been identified as the people using the stolen credit card.

Sheriff's detectives need the public's help in identifying the two people -- a white man, approximately 5 foot 8 to 5 foot 10 with a medium build, and a white female. They are wanted on a charge of possession of stolen property and for questioning about the burglary.
