The Village Board has voted to renew its agreement with Cooney Cable Associates for 10 years, provided Cooney sells its franchise rights to Time Warner Communications.
The takeover of the system by Time Warner is expected to be completed by Jan. 1. The telecommunications giant has announced a number of improvements and channel additions to the current Warsaw cable TV lineup.
Village trustees voted unanimously last week to approve the new arrangement. Customer service requests will be handled through Time Warner's Batavia office.
