James F. Zastrow, 40, a carpenter, died Wednesday (Dec. 22, 1999) in his home after apparently suffering a heart attack.

Zastrow, known as "Peanuts," was a Lockport native and a 1978 graduate of Lockport High School.

He worked in construction for 15 years, the last 10 with Bull Brothers Construction.

He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Cambria.

Survivors include his mother, Jean A. Devereaux; five brothers, Dana Frost of Buffalo, Ronald of Wilson, Michael and William, both of Appleton, and Timothy; a sister, Jacquelyn Dean of Newfane; and his grandfather, John Devereaux.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 4169 Church Road, Cambria.
