A Little Valley man died early Sunday when he was ejected from a car after the driver lost control on slippery Route 353.
Jarod S. Simcick, 19, of Dutch Hill was pronounced dead at the scene by Cattaraugus County Coroner Howard Van Rensselaer.
The driver of the car, Donald Suleski, 19, of Little Valley was flown to Erie County Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
Cattaraugus County Sheriff's deputies said Suleski was driving a car owned by his mother, Kathryn A. Suleski, and headed north near the intersection of County Road 76 when he lost control on a snow-covered and slippery section at 2:23 a.m.
The car went off the road into a field, and rolled, ejecting Simcick.
Other passengers were taken to Tri-County Memorial Hospital in Gowanda for treatment of minor injuries. They were identified as Alison L. Caleb, 16, of Cattaraugus and Kelly N. Cannon, 16, of East Otto.
