Cynthia R. Wilson, 41, a letter carrier, died unexpectedly Thursday (Dec. 23, 1999) at her residence in the City of Tonawanda.
A native of Hamburg, she had been a resident of the City of Tonawanda for the past 14 years.
She was a 1976 graduate of Frontier Central High School and a 1980 graduate of Oswego State College, where she received a bachelor of science degree in zoology.
Ms. Wilson had been employed as a letter carrier for the City of Tonawanda Post Office for the past 14 years. She was a past secretary of the mail carriers union and was instrumental in organizing the office picnics and annual food drives. She was also an avid golfer.
She is survived by her mother, the former Harriet Knapp of Plant City, Fla., and a brother, Charles B. of Chicago.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in John O. Roth Funeral Home, 25 William St., City of Tonawanda.
