Two teen-agers armed with a handgun that misfired during a robbery Thursday night were apprehended by Broadway Station officers, authorities said.

Brian D. Hill, 19, of Clark Street and Dwayne Green, 18, of Gibson Street were charged with robbery and criminal use of a weapon after they allegedly forced their way into a Sobieski Street home at 10:15 p.m. and stole $1,000 worth of clothing, including three leather coats.

Hill allegedly pointed the gun at Steffon D. Sanders of the first block of Sobieski and pulled the trigger four times, but the weapon did not discharge, according to arresting Officers Patrick Crowley and Lance Russo.

Assisting in the arrest of Hill, who was caught at a home on Longview Avenue, and Green, who was apprehended on Mills Street, were Officers Daniel Redman and John Simonian.
