Dan Gronkowski, 14, a ninth-grader and junior varsity quarterback at Williamsville North, has advanced to the national finals of the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition. He earned the regional title Nov. 28 at Ralph Wilson Stadium, when he averaged 45 yards in the three events.

Gronkowski, of Getzville, will compete against three other members of his age group at a yet-to-be-determined AFC playoff game the weekend of Jan. 14-16. Winners there will be honored at the bPro Bowl in Hawaii on Feb. 6.

HOCKEY: West Seneca East Hockey will celebrate its 25th year with an alumni game Wednesday from 1:45 to 3:15 p.m. at Leisure Rinks.
