Franklin N. Arcangel, retired manager of engineering at Trico Products, died Tuesday (Dec. 21, 1999) in Sisters Hospital after a long illness. The Cheektowaga resident was 81.
A 1935 graduate of Technical High School, he had worked for Curtiss-Wright and Bell Aerospace before going to Trico. He retired in 1980 after 23 years there.
He was a member of Edison Street Baptist Church and received 25-year awards from the Buffalo Consistory of Ismailia Temple and the Lackawanna Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing and camping.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, the former Rita A. Smith; a daughter, Gale Martin of Alden; and two sons, Dennis of East Amherst and Wayne of Hamburg.
Services are at 11 a.m. Friday in Amigone Funeral Home, 569 Cleveland Drive, Cheektowaga.
