A 26-year-old woman who was wanted on drug-related charges was arrested after officers answered an unrelated call, police reported Tuesday.
Officers had been dispatched to a West Second Street address Monday afternoon on an unrelated call -- the nature of which was not disclosed -- and ended up arresting a woman who had been investigated by police for suspected crack cocaine sales.
Darleen Davis, 26, of North Pangolin Street, was charged with two felony counts each of criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance.
Davis had been under investigation by officers from Dunkirk and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, police said. Additional arrests are expected.
