There shouldn't be any computer glitches in the Cheektowaga Sloan schools when the calendar rolls over said technology director Margaret Jones-Carey Tuesday night.
Jones-Carey said a lot of time and money was spent making sure all of the districts technology systems are ready for the new year.
"We began this process over a year ago," said Jones-Carey. "And we feel very confident walking away on December 31."
On another matter, the board accepted a $7,000 donation from the United Way toward the district's family services network. A $160 donation was also accepted from the JFK Middle School students for the purchase of an artax machine.
