A Fairfield Avenue man was charged with petit larceny Monday morning after allegedly stealing a pair of Caller ID telephones from the Office Max store on Niagara Falls Boulevard.
Niagara Falls Police Officer Christopher Lofstrand arrested Robert Alexander, 53, shortly before noon. The store manager told Lofstrand that Alexander was seen taking the items, then was confronted outside the store, where the merchandise was recovered.
The phones were valued at $39. Bail for Alexander was placed at $250, pending arraignment in Niagara Falls City Court.
