Lane K. Hardin, 57, a civil engineer and senior vice president of BAC Killian Inc. of Buffalo, died Sunday (Dec. 19, 1999) in his home under the care of Niagara Hospice.
He was born in Indianapolis and earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Purdue University.
He had lived in Lewiston since 1984.
Hardin worked for BAC Killian for 14 years. He was involved in several area projects, including work on the Peace Bridge and the Buffalo Railroad Freight Terminal revitalization project.
He was a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Phillips Hardin; a daughter, Sydney; his mother, Laura Hardin Brundage of Indianapolis; and a brother, Larry of Indianapolis.
