Francis A. Pauli, 80, a retired New York City Sanitation Department employee, died Monday (Dec. 20, 1999) at his home here after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Brooklyn and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Pauli retired in 1979 from the New York City Sanitation Department, where he repaired trucks and equipment. He also had worked as a blacksmith.
Pauli moved to Niagara Falls in 1989.
He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, the former Marie Schubert, and a brother, Albert of Long Island.
Private services will be scheduled. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
