Oceana Matrix Ltd. of Orchard Park, has entered into a reseller agreement with CacheFlow Inc. of Sunnyvale, Calif., a leading provider of Internet caching appliances that speed Web site response times. CacheFlow's product was selected as PC Magazine's Editors Choice in September.

KPMG LLP built the global NetAid Web site (www.net aid.org.) which is a large-scale effort to end world poverty by combining leaders in technology, entertainment and social change. The site is capable of handling 60 million hits per hour.

TVGA Engineering, Surveying in Elma was awarded a contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District to provide photogrammetry, surveying and mapping, and related services for various civil works and military projects in the United States. Two separate contracts were awarded by the Corps' North Atlantic Division, to provide Indefinite Delivery Contracts for Surveying Services for beach profile surveying and for hydropraphic surveying services. The firm also received a contract from the Allegany County Department of Public Works to provide professional engineering services for an expansion of the Allegany County Landfill in Belmont. TVGA also will provide the Town of Lancaster with a state Environmental Quality Review for a retail center at Transit Road and William Street.

ESI/Technologies Inc. in Buffalo, developer of an Oracle-based suite of software products to support manufacturers, sold its complete eMIS Manufacturing Pack to Onyx Industries Inc. in Los Angeles, a manufacturer of ear piercing equipment and studs.
