WOMAN CHARGED IN DAMAGE TO WALL

A 19-year-old woman was charged with third-degree criminal mischief Saturday after two holes were kicked in a wall at the new State Police barracks while she was being booked on a drunken-driving charge.

Lucia Cussick of Fourth Street, Niagara Falls, was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Friday at Hyde Park Boulevard and College Avenue after she allegedly ran a red light at Hyde Park Boulevard and Witmer Road, Town Officer James Suitor said.

As Suitor charged her with a red light violation and driving while intoxicated in the barracks' processing room, Cussick kicked a wall, making two holes in it, troopers said.
