Thomas Vizzini, 47, of Colden, a financial adviser, died Friday (Dec. 17, 1999) in Millard Fillmore Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Vizzini's financial career included employment as a loan officer with M&T Bank and as a financial adviser with the John Hancock Insurance Co.
While in the Marine Corps, he served with the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing fleet marine forces in Vietnam.
He graduated from Lafayette High School and attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
Vizzini was a member of the Butler Mitchell Alumni and Phi Beta fraternity.
He was especially fond of animals, dogs in particular, andowned two golden retrievers, Murray and Harry.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Abberger Vizzini; his parents, Thomas A. and Carmen of Buffalo, and a brother, James of London, England.
Prayers will be offered at 9:15 a.m. Monday in the Perna Funeral Home, 1306 Hertel Ave., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in Annunciation Catholic Church, Lafayette Avenue at Grant Street. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
