Police arrested a 71st Street teen-ager early Saturday after he allegedly crashed the car he was driving into a house at 10002 Colvin Blvd., Officer James Conte said.
The house, owned by Matthew P. Colangelo, was badly damaged, Conte said. So was the 1989 Pontiac the teen-ager was driving. No estimate of damage was available.
Ryan T. Arnold, 16, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, speeding, a stop sign violation and driving without insurance.
The crash occurred at 4 a.m. when Arnold was driving north on 100th Street about 70 mph, ran a stop sign, jumped a curve at Colvin, crossed a sidewalk and crashed into the house, police said.
