SUPER JINGO WINNER TO GET FIRST TRIP EVER TO LAS VEGAS

Sharon Weick of Tonawanda is the first-place winner in SUPER JINGO 918, a trip for two to Bally's Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, plus $500.

"Come on, you're kidding. This is such a wonderful prize, I am stunned," said Weick.

A SUPER JINGO player for more than 10 years, Weick has never won a major prize. "I can't wait to tell my husband and kids that I won. They always laugh at me when I play, but I finally won," she said.

This will mark Weick's first trip to Las Vegas. "I have always wanted to go to Vegas. I think I will go in the winter months to get away from the snow," she said.

Weick, who works in an accounting office, will take her husband, Wayne, on the trip, which includes a five-night stay and round-trip air fare.

"Thank you. What a great Christmas present this is to me," she said.

Other winners are:

Josephine Eialogreck of Kenmore -- Bordeaux bookcase,L-shaped desk and hutch.

Tom Carella of Buffalo -- 12 tickets to the Buffalo News box at Dunn Tire Park for one Bisons game.

Katherine E. Ramsey of Holland -- Bills autographed football.

G. Louise Strick of Snyder -- dinner and theater tickets.

Eialogreck, second-place winner of a Bordeaux bookcase, L-shaped desk and hutch by Bush from the Brand Names Furniture Gallery, said: "Oh, how nice. Brand Names has beautiful things, so I am sure this will be a great prize."

She has been playing since the game began, but this marks Eialogreck's first win. "This is great. I guess I do have luck outside of Vegas. Thank you again for the good news," she said.

She plans to give the prize to her niece as a Christmas gift. "She just moved into a new apartment, so it will be of use to her," she said.

Carella will be surprised to learn that he is this week's third-place winner of 12 tickets to the Buffalo News box at Dunn Tire Park for one Bisons game.

"That's just great," replied Ramsey when she learned of her fourth-place win of a Bills autographed football.

Ramsey has been playing on and off since the game began. "I have a friend that has won three or four times, and every time she wins, I wonder how her name got picked and not mine, but now it is mine. I can't wait to tell her," she said.

"I root that the Bills will win every time they play, and like some of the players," said Ramsey. She said she will probably give the football to one of her eight children. "They are all bigger Bills fans than I am, so they would enjoy it more than me."

Strick is this week's fifth-place winner of dinner and theater tickets. She will be surprised to learn of her win.
