STUDENTS' ART TO HANG IN STORES

Fourteen businesses will soon double as art galleries and display the artwork of Jamestown public school students.

According to Superintendent Raymond Fashano, the Our Town's Young Artists program will be directed by art department Chairman Wesley Bossman. Bossman explained the program is aimed at both creating a larger audience for student work and educating the public about the value of that work.

He added each of the participating businesses have agreed to display two to five piece of student artwork, and those pieces will be rotated every 30 to 60 days beginning next month.
