Melissa Fazio scored 23 points and added eight rebounds as the St. Bonaventure women's basketball team picked up a road win at Indiana, 64-54.
The Bonnies (4-4), who trailed, 32-31, at the half, took advantage of Indiana's poor shooting in the second half to build a comfortable lead. Overall, the Hoosiers (4-6) hit 23 of 72 shots (32 percent).
Fazio hit 10 of 21 from the field, including 2 of 4 from three-point range.
Angela Scott added 11 points for St. Bonaventure, while Jill Chapman led Indiana with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Elsewhere, Mercyhurst (Pa.) defeated Niagara County Community College, 67-34, despite 18 points and 20 rebounds from NCCC's Krysta Tracy (Lew-Port). Toni Mauro (Lew-Port) added 11 points for NCCC.
MEN'S BASKETBALL: Gannon (Pa.) downed Daemen, 83-67, despite 21 points and five blocks from Daemen freshman Kevin Lange (Randolph). . . . Lakeland CC trampled Jamestown Community College, 105-78. Ernesto Giscombe led JCC with 21 points. . . . D'Youville snapped a four-game losing skid with a 94-89 win over Waynesburg (Pa.). Jason Cwiklinski (JFK) led the Spartans (2-6) with 23 points while Todd Zielinski (St. Francis) added 20. . . . NCCC beat Mercyhurst-NE, 92-74, behind Steve Chudler's 25 points.
WRESTLING: The University at Buffalo swept all three of its matches in Saturday's four-team battle at Alumni Arena.
The Bulls defeated Drexel (31-0), Appalachian State (28-15) and Binghamton (45-0). Triple-winners for UB included Jacob Partlow, Mike Garofalo, Gary Cooper, Ben Cooper and junior Josh States (Lockport).
