Raymond V. Ball, 83, who worked as a laborer at the Upson Corp., Lockport, died Thursday (Dec. 16, 1999) in Newfane Health Care Facility after a long illness.
He was born in Ontario and lived in Newfane for the past 25 years. Before that, he lived in Akron and moved to Barker in 1949, living there for 25 years.
Ball retired from the Upson Corp. in the 1970s.
Survivors include his wife, the former Faith Atwater; three daughters, Mary Ann Lutton of Maryland, Lucille Lehning of Florida and Dorothy Barnett of North Carolina; two sons, Kenneth of Somerset and Ernest of Florida; a sister, Irene Wallace of Akron; a brother, Percy of Akron; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, 2670 Main St.
