Betty W. Robinson, 83, formerly of Williamsville, died Friday (Dec. 17, 1999) in Cattaraugus County Nursing Home.
A Buffalo native, the former Betty Wilson was a 1934 graduate of Bennett High School. She earned a master's degree in education from the University of Michigan.
Mrs. Robinson was a member of Williamsville United Methodist Church for almost 50 years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Order of Eastern Star in Williamsville. Friends and family members recall her as someone always willing to help others.
Mrs. Robinson was predeceased by three husbands, Donald P. Keel Sr., Alfred E. Artman and John R. Robinson.
Survivors include three sons, Donald P. Keel Jr. of Frederick, Md., Harry W. Keel of Pompano Beach, Fla., and the Rev. Richard N. Keel; two stepsons, Robert Artman of Kettering, Ohio, and Jack Robinson of Rochester; four stepdaughters, Betty Wendow of Honolulu, Pam Redmond of North Tonawanda, and Kathy Brown and Mary Emerson, both of Rochester; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Williamsville United Methodist Church, 5681 Main St., Williamsville. Burial will be in Forest Lawn, Buffalo.
