ART IN BLOOM is the name of a fine arts festival that Menne Nursery is holding from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Local artists will display and sell their works at the nursery, 3100 Niagara Falls Blvd., in Amherst. A hands-on kid's art space and a student artwork display are on the schedule, too.
In addition, Wine World will hold a "wine tasting" from 1 to 4 p.m. each day and David Knittle of Tansu Bonsai, an experienced bonsai artist of more than 20 years, will be on hand from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday to share his knowledge and skills on starting, growing and maintaining bonsai. PRINT EXHIBIT -- Since 1939, local shutterbugs have met in the Buffalo Museum of Science's auditorium to share their photographs, camera know-how and love of photography.
