Jean E. Kelley, a retired surgical technician, died Tuesday (Sept. 28, 1999) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, after a short illness.
The former Jean E. McCoy, 73, of Northway Drive, was born in Buffalo.
She was a blueprint clerk at Bell Aircraft in Wheatfield for five years. She then moved to Denver, where she lived from 1958 to 1964.
Mrs. Kelley moved back to this area and was employed as a surgical technician for five years at Kenmore Mercy Hospital and then for 15 years at DeGraff Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1988.
She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Bergholz and was active in the Bergholz Historical Society.
Mrs. Kelley is survived by her husband, James R.; a son, Ronald of Coral Springs, Fla.; a daughter, Karen of Clarence Center; a brother, William McCoy of the Town of Tonawanda; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in St. James Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
